I Choose Jesus
1. You have been created for a purpose.
Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Ephesians 2:8-10
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
2. You are created to live in victory instead of defeat.
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
3. What keeps me from living in victory and going to Heaven?
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
We are all born into sin.
We all have said, done, or thought something that is not pleasing to God.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
That death means eternity in Hell…BUT God!
Sin separates us from God.
Sin creates a debt that we can not pay.
There is nothing that we can do on our own pay that debt or to fill that gap.
4. What Can I do? How can I go to Heaven? How can I live in victory?
It is not necessarily about what you can do, instead of what Jesus has already did…
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Jesus offers a free gift of salvation, He died in our place, but He did not stay dead, He rose after 3 days, ascended to Heaven and will be coming back.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Jesus paid the sin debt with His life.
Because His love for us, Jesus died a sacrificial death that way we may have Salvation…BUT HE DID NOT STAY DEAD!
1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
You may be thinking but I don’t understand how all this Bible stuff works, that is ok but you must believe.
Romans 10:9-10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
5. Choose Jesus
The God who created everything loves you and wants to have a relationship with you through His Son Jesus.
John 3:16-17
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Jesus is THE ONLY WAY to be saved from Hell and live in victory now.
John 14:6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
You can choose Jesus today one of two ways…salvation or rededication.
Salvation—If you have never put your faith and surrendered to having a relationship with Jesus…do that now.
Admit that you are a sinner and repent of your sins.
To repent means to have a change of mind…we must turn away from our sin and turn to Jesus.
Believe that Jesus is THE ONLY WAY FOR SALVATION, that He came, lived a perfect life, died on the cross and rose again.
Through prayer you can invite Jesus to come into your life through the Holy Spirit and receive Jesus and Savior and Lord.
Rededication—By rededicating your life to Jesus, you are making the decision to reconnect with Jesus…
You may know that you are saved but have fallen away from Jesus for one reason or another. You are ready to reject the sin in your life and surrender to God and His purpose for you.
If you have accepted Jesus as Savior or rededicated your life to Jesus to make Him Lord, please fill out the form “I Choose Jesus”. We want to celebrate with you and also be praying for you.
